SAFEY PRECAUTIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS: Unlike common sage, Clary Sage is non-toxic and does not cause irritations and sensitivity. Use in moderation to avoid a psychotropic reaction which can result from larger amounts being used. It should not be used during pregnancy. Clary Sage should not be taken with medications or substances that have an iron base, nor should it be taken with alcohol which can increase intoxication and promote nightmares.
